I just wanted to thank you for all your help in the process of getting our

new puppy! Although we were unable to get a new puppy from you, we

got a great contact from you! I wish everyone was so helpful! This has

been quite the process with ups and downs after losing our last

shepherd, you made it feel easy. We never had any doubt about how

much you care about these dogs, which was very important to us.

Hi Rose-

Just want to thank you for recommending Kelly Kurtz.  My husband

and I visited her place this past Saturday, and I'm ecstatic to announce that we are the proud parents of a baby girl.  "Sophie" should be able to

come home about March 26th.  I told everyone how wonderful you were in helping me find another breeder after Indee lost her pups. 

A friend of mine is looking to get a German Shepherd down the road

and I have already given her your information.  You are a wonderful person Rose and obviously have an extreme love for your dogs...who better to get a puppy from.  Thank you again and please give Indee a hug for

I want you to know that both David and I still feel that you are our first choice in a breeder. We fully intend on coming back to you when it becomes time for another puppy.  We appreciated the personal care and helpful information you gave to us and further educated us on the German Shepherd breed. We loved that you had the questionnaire and will not give your puppies to just any home.

You were so honest with the whole deposit and contract situation, I am not sure we would find anyone else as honorable as you; taking so much time answering so many questions. We hope to keep in touch,

You are truly a breeder that cares about GSD. when I had

emailed you with a concern you answered me without even

purchasing a puppy from you,  that says allot about you. I'm very

 thankful for all your advise. I didn't even get any advise from the

breeder I purchased the pup from.

So for me I would say you have  a BIG heart and love what you do.

You also care where your puppies are going.

I wish I would have found you as a breeder because knowing what

I know now I would have purchased a puppy from you.

Ms. Sweeney: Thank you for your visit today, I enjoyed sharing

 information with you.... your knowledge was very helpful and your

dogs are beautiful, I only wish I had called before they had all been

sold. Your love for this breed is surely evident. I am glad my husband

and I could spend time with you, we learned a great deal.

 

We have visited many breeders in our area and surrounding areas,

have left in total disappointment due to the lack of care given to their animals. We will defiantly be in touch for your next litter in August,

I own one of Rose's puppies from her latest litter (Ussa X Admiral}.

 I looked at over 30 breeders, spoke to some on the phone,thru e-mail

 and looking at websites and I often found that I either didn't like the

breeder or I didn't like what they had to offer. I wanted the

"Whole Package". A breeder with good lines pedigree),

trustworthy  and honest,patient (since I had a million questions),

early socialization of the puppies,etc...

 

Rose exceeded my expectations. She is not only a wonderful

breeder but person as well. She is someone I consider a friend and

has always been there for me whenever I have a question. I would

not hesitate to get another dog from her or refer her to anyone. P.S.

We like Rose so much we named our puppy after her "Enya Rose" :O)

My wife and I got a Admiral puppy shortly after my German shepherd

 had past away from cancer. We named here Akela and she is a

awesome puppy very smart and very good temperament and is

beautiful in color. I talked to Rose on the phone for about two hours

 one night about puppys that she has seen come from Admiral and we

 can not be more happy with Akela. Rose my wife and I both thank

 you in helping us with the decision on getting Akela.

Rose rocks my socks! I was really nervous about getting a puppy,

especially getting (sorry to say) but "ripped off" and I wanted to be

sure I was getting a good dog...all dogs have their up and downs but

what I mean is that no "puppy mill or puppy factory" instances were

taking place. Rose talked to me about German Shepherd dogs for almost

an hour when I called to inquire..She made it clear that she was a small breeder and that all she really wanted for the German Shepherd  breed

was to keep bettering it and bettering it..

 

It was amazing the knowledge she had. Unfortunately, I was unable

 to purchase the puppy.. I did not have the correct funds to give her

 the home she needed. Even though I'd backed out...Rose kept her

arms wide open and offered to come to her again when the right

time had come for me to get a puppy. I would definitely recommend her

and would definitely call her a friend... I thank you Rose, And will come soon to purchase a puppy. And trust me, I simply can not wait for that day to Come! :) Thanks for everything! Emilie.

The phrase of "crossing paths" can be a bit overused these days, but I

have to use it when speaking about Rose Sweeney. I am so very grateful

to have crossed the path of Rose. After the loss of our beloved shepherd, Edgar, we knew finding another companion would be hard as Edgar was

so well loved. We even received dozens of sympathy cards for him.

 

We searched sooooooo many websites for a shepherd, always left

without the feeling that the priority was a family pet.  Then we found

Vom Haus Edinburgh's site and immediately felt like we had found a

kindred spirit in Rose. Her dogs certainly are incredible with their

heritage, but more importantly for us, they all seemed so family friendly. Talking with Rose on the phone confirmed all of our good vibes.

This woman loves her animals and makes sure that they find families

who will love them just as much. Rose was so sympathetic to our loss,

and before I knew it, a half hour on the phone sped by as we arranged

 to adopt one of her latest puppies. We still have a couple of weeks to

go before we can bring our "Guthrie" home, but Rose has been so

diligent in sending us pics and getting our baby used to his name.

 

I can just picture all these puppies romping in her kitchen and receiving

all her love and German Shepherd insightful training. I am grateful to

Rose for all she does for the breed and for all she does for us humans

about to add her pups to our families. Feel free to contact me later

for comments after our baby comes home with us; and certainly find Rose

 if you are craving the world's best dogs, German Shepherds.

She is a gift!

In our search for a new puppy, I found Rose's sight. The sight is not only engaging and helpful; but all of my interaction with Rose has been wonderful! I was very impressed with Rose's help in finding the perfect German Shepherd  for our family dog. I haven't purchased a puppy yet but plan to in the near future. I have been around shepherds for a long time, My cousin introduced me to them many years ago. Since then our shepherd passed away a couple of years ago and to be very honest the house hasn't been the same, and we are looking for some great dog to take her place and share life with. (Sheeba can't be replaced but a different dog would ease the pain)Your site is really great and thank you for putting it up for others to see too!

well to begin rose is my aunt so automatically people will think "biast" but truthfully ive never met a person that has so much passion for dogs especially German shepherds when ever there's a question I have about dogs as I have thought of at times of getting one, she was the person to ask. sometimes I think she takes her dogs to seriously (laughing out loud). Just a quick note about the pup I purchased from Ms. Sweeny. I found Ms. Sweeny to be very professional when I first contacted her about purchasing a pup, and throughout the entire purchase. Her care and love for her dogs impressed me. After I checked out other breeders I was compelled to contact Ms. Sweeny again so I could adopt (purchase) my new pup into my home. I know it's important to all of you who are considering bringing one of her puppies into your home so that you know how other people feel about their experience.

 I love rose's dogs I help keep them happy and play with them every night. Hannah gives me kisses but loves her babies a whole bunch. rose takes good care of all her dogs and feeds Hannah real meat not dog food. I like to play with the puppies and keep them busy and teach them tricks and how to sit. I would love to keep them all but know that I cant because we already have 2 dogs and 2 cats at our house. But..........I know I can always play with all of rose's puppies!!!!

I have been a neighbor of Rose's for the last 6+ years and I have seen and heard her working with her dogs and puppies. You can tell that she takes pride in what she has done. She is a HONEST,LOVING and CARING breeder. The time she spends with her dogs and puppies is wonderful. I would not get a dog from any breeder other than her not because she is my neighbor and friend but because I have seen the love and caring that she puts into her animals. And that is very important. Please check her out it is well worth it. You will NOT be disappointed.

I have been to many breeder and looked at many pups and by far this is the best set up I have seen! The puppies are healthy, have a large area to play in. its also clean. When I walked into this breeder's home it did not smell of dog where so many other's have. Given the fact that we live in the same town I have dropped by a few times unannounced and found that her set up is always clean and the pups are always well taken care of.

I just spoke with Ms. Sweeney on the phone. I called with questions about possibly getting a puppy. I recently had gotten a new GSD puppy from another breeder and was considering a playmate for her. I was very impressed with Ms. Sweeney's knowledge of the GSD breed and her compassion for the breed as well. She was very willing to give me advice for my puppy at home and offered to help at anytime with puppy issues as they come up this after we decided to wait on a playmate at this time. I am very impressed with her dedication. I will definitely look to her for my future puppy and truly appreciate her Love and devotion to the GSD breed. Thanks for all the great info.!
